(1)
Energize the ground service network
(Ref. TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(2)
On the panel 25VU make sure that the APU MASTER SW p/bsw is OFF.
(3)
Make sure that there is a warning notice in the cockpit to tell persons not to start the APU.
(4)
Make sure that hydraulic systems are depressurized
(Ref. TASK 29-00-00-864-001).

D. Get Access
(1)
Put the access platform in position below the APU access doors 315AL and 316AR.
(2)
Open the APU access doors 315AL and 316AR (Ref. TASK 52-41-00-010-001).
(3)
Set the LIGHT SW 11LJ to the ON position.
4. Procedure

A. Installation of the Generator Scavenge Pump (8085KM)
(1)
Remove the blanking caps from the component mating faces.
(2)
Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(3)
Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(4)
Apply a thin layer of OILS (Material No. 03-002) to the new O-ring
(5) and the new O-ring (4).
(5)
Install the new O-rings (5) and (4) to the generator scavenge pump (8085KM) (3).
(6)
Hold the generator scavenge pump (8085KM) (3) in position and install the washers (2)
(7)
TORQUE the bolts (1) to 0.56 m.daN (49.55 lbf.in). and the bolts (1).
(8)
Apply a thin layer of OILS (Material No. 03-002) to the new O-ring
(7) and the new O-ring (8).
(9)
Install the new O-rings (7) and (8) to the generator (9).
(10)
Put the generator (9) in position onto the accessory drive gearbox.
(11)
Turn the generator (9) clockwise to engage the accessory-drive gearbox studs in the correct position.
(12)
Make sure that the dowel on the accessory drive gearbox-flange engages fully in the generator (9).
(13)
TORQUE the nuts (6) to between 3.9 and 4.4 m.daN (28.76 and 32.44 lbf.ft).
(14)
Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connections.
(15)
Connect the electrical connection (12).
(16)
Install the electrical connections (13) with the washers (14) and the nuts (15).
(17)
TORQUE the nuts (15) to between 1.6 and 1.9 m.daN (11.79 and 14.01 lbf.ft).
(18)
Install the cover plate (16) with the washers (17) and the screws (18).
(19)
TORQUE the screws (18) to between 0.43 and 0.47 m.daN (38.05 and
41.59 lbf.in). Subtask 49-91-52-210-051
B. Do a visual check of the oil quantity. Add oil if the oil level is on or less than the ADD mark on the sight glass (Ref. TASK 49-90-00-600-001).

C. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s): 1KD, 2KD.
