(2) To get access to the inboard supply valve or the bypass valve, remove the left sidewall lining in the forward cargo compartment at STA 580 (Ref 25-52-01/401).
D. Remove the Valve
(1) S 344-062Remove the moisture shroud from the valve (inboard exhaust valve).
(2) S 034-004Disconnect the electrical connector from the valve. (a) Supply valve DV444 (b) Exhaust valve DV445 (c) Bypass valve DV446
(3) S 034-005Disconnect the bonding jumper from the valve.
(4) S 034-006Loosen the clamp on each end of the valve.
(5) S 034-007Move the duct sleeves away from the valve.
(6) S 024-050Remove the valve. (a) If you cannot remove the inboard exhaust valve through the floor beams, do the steps that follow: 1) Remove the walkway panel that is forward of the inboard exhaust valve and left of the center line. 2) Disconnect the antenna cables from the duct section that is forward of station 560. 3) Loosen the clamps from the duct section forward of station 560 (3 locations).

4) Move the duct sleeves away from the duct joints. 5) Remove the adjacent section of the bypass duct. 6) Remove the duct support clamp from the duct at station 560. 7) Turn the duct section until you can remove the inboard
exhaust valve through the opening at station 560.

(7) Put a cover on the duct openings.

(1) Location Zone 121 Forward Cargo Compartment Forward Half, LH
C. Install the Valve
S 434-010
(1) Remove the covers from the duct openings.
(a) Make sure there is no unwanted material in the ducts.
S 424-011
(2) Put the valve in its position in the duct.
(a)
Make sure you can connect the electrical connector and the bonding jumper to the valve.
(b)
Make sure the flow arrow on the inboard exhaust valve points in the forward direction.
NOTE: The flow arrow on the inboard exhaust valve points
____ in the opposite direction of the air flow to make sure you can get access to the manual override handle.
