Make sure there is no unwanted material near the face of the heat exchanger.

Make sure that less than 5% of the fins on the face of the heat exchanger are bent.

Make sure there are no cracks that you can see in the welds of the heat exchanger.

Make sure that there is no corrosion on the secondary heat exchanger outlet flange.

Make sure there are no cracks or dents in the ram-air header.
E. Put the Airplane to Its Usual Condition

Install the access door in the ram-air duct.
