Open the following circuit breaker for the supply fan:
1) DC Power Distribution Panel, P180 a) 180J4, EQUIP COOL CONT SUPPLY FAN
(h)
Make sure the supply fan is now off but the exhaust fan is still on.
(i)
Close the following circuit breaker to restore power to the supply fan: 1) DC Power Distribution Panel, P180
a) 180J4, EQUIP COOL CONT SUPPLY FAN
(j)
Make sure the supply fan is now on and the exhaust fan is still on.

FREIGHTERS; To simulate a supply fan power failure in flight, open this circuit breaker and attach a DO-NOT-CLOSE tag: 1) DC Power Distribution Panel, P180
a) 180J4, EQUIP COOL CONT SUPPLY FAN
(l)
Make sure the supply fan is now off but the exhaust fan is still on.
(m)
Make sure the bypass valve (V446) is now open but the ground exhaust valve (V447) is still closed.
(n)
Make sure the RCDU ground test enable switch is in the NORM position.
(o)
Set the Ground Test Enable switch on the P461 panel to the ENABLE position.
(p)
Make sure the EICAS status message EE CLNG SUP FAN shows.
(q)
Open the following circuit breaker for the bypass valve (V446):
1) DC Power Distribution Panel, P180
a) 180F4, EQUIP COOL CONT VALVE
(r)
Make sure the bypass valve (V446) is now closed.
(s)
Close the following circuit breaker to restore power to the bypass valve (V446): 1) DC Power Distribution Panel, P180
a) 180F4, EQUIP COOL CONT VALVE
(t)
Make sure the bypass valve (V446) is now open.
(u)
FREIGHTERS; To restore supply fan power, close the following circuit breaker and remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tag: 1) DC Power Distribution Panel, P180
a) 180J4, EQUIP COOL CONT SUPPLY FAN
(v)
Make sure the supply fan and exhaust fan are now both on.
(w)
Make sure the bypass valve (V446) and ground exhaust valve (V447) are now both closed.
(x)
Open and then close the following circuit breaker to cycle power control for the supply fan: 1) DC Power Distribution Panel, P180
a) 180J4, EQUIP COOL CONT SUPPLY FAN
(y)
Put the EQUIP COOLING mode selector on the P5 panel to OVRD for 5 seconds then return back to the NORM position to reset the system.
(z)
Make sure the supply fan and exhaust fan are still both on. (aa) Make sure there are no EICAS messages shown for the Equipment Cooling system. (ab) Open the following circuit breaker for the exhaust fan:
1) DC Power Distribution Panel, P180
a) 180H30, EQUIP COOL EXH FAN CONT
