(2) Get access to the applicable zone temperature assembly:
(a)
Flight Deck
1) Remove the panel with the sensor that is immediately forward of the overhead crew escape hatch.
(b)
Upper Deck
1) Remove the ceiling panel that has the zone temperature sensor assembly on the right side of the airplane opposite the stowable ladder (AMM 25-22-03/401).
(c)
Crew Rest Area
1) Remove the ceiling panel that is on the airplane centerline immediately aft of the two crew rest bunks (AMM 25-22-03/401).
(d)
Main Deck Cargo Compartment
1) Find the zone temperature sensor assembly coverplate located approximately four to five feet left of the airplane centerline on the ceiling at these locations: a) STA 470, Forward Main Deck 1 b) STA 630, Forward Main Deck 2 c) STA 1383, Aft Main Deck 1 d) STA 2010, Aft Main Deck 2
2) Remove the eight screws that attach the coverplate to the ceiling. 3) Remove the coverplate.
D. Remove the Zone Temperature Sensor Assembly

Disconnect the three electrical connectors from the sensor assembly.
(2)
Remove the three screws, washers, and nuts from the sensor flange.
(3)
Remove the temperature sensor assembly.

C. Install the Temperature Sensor Assembly

Put the sensor assembly in its position.

Install the three screws, nuts, and washers on the sensor assembly flange.

Install the three electrical connectors.

Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE identifiers and close these circuit
breakers:
(a) Main Power Distribution Panel, P6:
1) For all the zone temperature sensors: a) 6F28, ZONE TEMP CONT AC b) 6F29, ZONE TEMP CONT DC
2) For the applicable zone temperature sensor: a) 6G28, ZONE TEMP SENSOR FLT DK b) 6G29, ZONE TEMP SENSOR UPR DK & CREW REST c) 6G30, ZONE TEMP SENSOR MN DK FWD d) 6G31, ZONE TEMP SENSOR MN DK AFT
D. Do a Test of the Zone Temperature Sensor Assembly

(1) Supply electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).
