 B.  The electrical system test does a check of the equipment cooling system in each mode of operation. The test also includes a check of the overheat switch.
 C.  The Equipment Cooling ground test includes a check of the clean cycle logic.
 D.  The Detector Ground Test does a check of the equipment cooling low flow (cooling effect) detectors and the smoke detector (Ref 26-16-51).
 E.  All circuit breakers for the equipment cooling system must be closed before a test is done.
 F.  The tests that follow include valve position checks. To find the position of the equipment cooling inboard supply valve, inboard exhaust valve, bypass valve, E6/E9 valve, smoke/override valve, and 3-way valve, look at the position indicator on the valve actuator. The position of the ground exhaust valve must be found by a visual check of the flapper position.

 2.  Ground Test - Equipment Cooling_______________________________
 A.  General
 (1)  The ground test for the equipment cooling system commands the equipment cooling card to do a self-test and the equipment cooling system to go to the override mode. When the system is in the override mode, these conditions will occur:
 (a)  The supply and exhaust fans to stop.

1.
Obtain local ambient barometric pressure (Pbar).
2.
Measure E/E bay air temperature (Tbay).
3.
Locate E/E bay temperature on left axis of table and follow row to the column corresponding to the Barometric pressure. Read the correction factor (Cf).
4.
Calculate the corrected pressure (Pcor)as follows:
E/EPcor = P*Cf (Where: P is measured Baypressure)Temp (`F)Example
P = 2.6 IN. H O
2
Pbar = 30.1 IN. HG
Tbay = 46`F
From table: (45`F/30.2 IN. HG) Cf = 0.95
Pcor = 2.6 IN. H2O*0.95 = 2.47 IN. H2O
____ For ambient conditions outside the range
NOTE: of the table, the correction factor mustbe calculated as follows:
