D. Remove the Forward Section of the Inlet Door

WARNING: MAKE SURE THE DOOR IS SUPPORTED BEFORE REMOVING THE FORWARD SECTION OF THE DOOR. IF THE DOOR IS NOT SUPPORTED, THE DOOR MAY FALL OR QUICKLY SWING ABOUT THE AFT HINGE. THIS MAY CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONEL OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(1)
Remove the eight screws (2) from the hinge which is between the forward door section (3) and the aft door section (1).

Remove the seven screws (4) from the forward hinge.

Pull the forward door section (3) out of the ram air inlet.
E. Remove the Aft Section of the Inlet Door

(1)
Remove the bolt (5), the washers (6 and 7) and the nut (8) which connect each actuator link (2 locations) to the aft door section (1).

Pull the aft door section (1) out of the ram air inlet.

E. Prepare to Install the Inlet Door

(1) Remove the eight screws (2) to disassemble the forward door section
(3) from the aft door section (1).

(2) Clean all of the surfaces of the ram air inlet with a soft, lintfree cloth.
F. Install the Aft Section of the Inlet Door

Put the aft door section (1) into the ram air inlet and engage the door with the tracks.

(2)
Install the bolt (5), the washers (6 and 7), and the nut (8) which connect each actuator link (2 locations) to the aft door section (1).
NOTE: The countersink of the countersunk washer must be below and

against the head of the bolt.
