(2) If the equipment cooling card fails or one of the valves is not in its commanded position, then the test will fail.
NOTE: If a valve is in the closed position before you start the
____ test, the test will not verify its operation. The test only verifies that the valve is in its commanded position. With the EQUIP COOLING selector in the NORM position, these valves will already be closed:
-
the ground exhaust valve is closed when the outer temperature is less than 40°F (4°C)
-
the inboard exhaust valve is closed when the outer temperature is greater than 50°F (10°C)
-
the bypass valve is closed when both equipment cooling fans are on

Push the line select key (LSK) that is adjacent to <CMC to show the CMC MENU.
(c)
If <RETURN shows after you push the LSK, push the LSK that is adjacent to <RETURN until you see the CMC MENU.
(d)
Push the LSK that is adjacent to <GROUND TESTS to show the GROUND TESTS menu.
(e)
Push the LSK that is adjacent to <EQUIPMENT COOLING to show the GROUND TESTS for the equipment cooling system.
E. Equipment Cooling Ground Test

(1) Push the LSK that is adjacent to <EQUIPMENT COOLING.
NOTE: IN PROGRESS shows during the test.
