(2) Set the EICAS ECS maintenance page on the CMC CDU (AMM 45-10-00/201).

(3) Push the ECS switch on the EICAS Display Select Panel to show the ECS synoptic page.

(4) Remove the pressure in the pneumatic system (AMM 36-00-00/201).

(5) Do these steps to remove the air in the trim air ducts if you will remove any valve except the lower cargo valves: (a) Turn and hold the FLT DECK TEMP selector to the MAN W position while you monitor the EICAS ECS maintenance page. (b) Make sure the TRIM VAL POS F/D indication, on the EICAS ECS maintenance page, is between 0.90 and 1.00.
NOTE:____ The trim air PRSOV will open and permit the air in the trim air ducts to be released.
(c) (d) (e) Turn the FLT DECK TEMP selector to the AUTO position.Make sure the TRIM AIR PRESS indication, on the EICAS ECS maintenance page, is approximately 0.Make sure the two DUCT PSI indications (left and right), on the EICAS ECS synoptic page, are approximately 0.
