(3) S 864-035Remove the DO-NOT-OPERATE tag from the PACKS switch on the P5 overhead panel.
(4) S 744-034Do the ground test for the pack temperature controllers (AMM 21-51-00/501).
(5) S 864-008Operate the applicable pack (1,2 or 3) (AMM 21-00-00/201).

WARNING:_______DO NOT TOUCH THE DUCTS WHEN THE DUCTS ARE HOT. THE DUCTS CAN BURN YOU VERY BADLY.
(6) Examine the duct connections at the turbine bypass valve for air leakage.
NOTE: Small quantities of air leakage is permitted while large
____ quantities (jet blasts) of air leakage is not permitted.
G. Put the Airplane Back to Its Usual Condition

RAM AIR INLET DOOR - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General_______
A. This procedure has two tasks. The first task is the removal of the door for the ram air inlet. The second task is the installation of the inlet door.
B. The removal of the inlet door has these steps:
-
Remove the power from the pack control system
-
Remove the forward section of the inlet door
-
Remove the aft section of the inlet door.
C. The installation of the inlet door has these steps:
-
Install the aft section of the inlet door
-
Install the forward section of the inlet door
-Supply power to the pack control system
-Do a test of the inlet door.

C. Prepare to Remove the Inlet Door

Put the PACKS (1,2 or 3) switch to OFF, on the P5 overhead panel for the applicable pack (1,2 or3).
(2)
Put a DO-NOT-OPERATE tag on the PACKS switch.

Open these circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:
(a)
P6 Main Power Distribution Panel
1) 6F35, PACK TEMP CONT A
2) 6F36, PACK TEMP CONT B
(b)
P415 Power Distribution Center - Right 1) 415C38, PACK TEMP CONT B 2) 415K27, PACK TEMP CONT A
