1. General_______
A. This procedure has instructions to remove and install the airflow sensors. One airflow sensor is installed in each pack inlet duct, in the wing gear wheel well.

(1) Make sure the applicable (1, 2, or 3) PACKS selector, on the overhead panel, P5, is in the OFF position.
(a) Put a DO-NOT-OPERATE tag on the selector.

_______ GEAR. IF YOU MOVE THE CONTROL LEVER WITHOUT THE DOWNLOCKS INSTALLED, THE LANDING GEAR CAN RETRACT AND CAUSE INJURIES TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.

Make sure the downlocks are installed on the main landing gear (AMM 32-00-30/201).
(3)
Install the locks for the body and wing gear door.

D. Remove the Sensor

(1) Disconnect the electrical connector from the sensor:
-DT423 for the pack 1 airflow sensor
-DT424 for the pack 2 airflow sensor
-DT425 for the pack 3 airflow sensor

(2) Remove the bolts that hold the sensor to the duct.

CAUTION:_______DO NOT HOLD THE AIR FLOW SENSOR BY THE BLADES. IF YOU HOLD THE AIRFLOW SENSOR BY THE BLADES, DAMAGE TO THE THE AIRFLOW SENSOR CAN OCCUR. MAKE SURE YOU KEEP THE AIRFLOW SENSOR IN A PROTECTIVE BOX WHEN IT IS NOT IN USE.
(3) Remove the sensor.
