1. General_______
A. This procedure has instructions to remove and install the flow control and shutoff valves. A flow control and shutoff valve is installed aft of each air cooling pack.

C. Prepare for the Removal
S 864-002
(1) Release the pressure in the pneumatic system (AMM 36-00-00/201).
(a) Make sure the DUCT PSI L and R, on the EICAS ECS synoptic display, are less than 0.50.

(2) Turn the applicable PACK selector, on the overhead panel, P5, to the OFF position.
(a) Put a DO-NOT-OPERATE tag on the selector.

(3) Open the applicable access door (AMM 06-09-03/201):
(a) 191H-L for pack 1.

D. Remove the Valve

Disconnect the electrical connector from the valve.

Remove the bonding jumpers from the valve.

Remove the clamps from each end of valve.
NOTE: You can use a plastic mallet to loosen the clamp.

Remove the valve.

Put a cover on the duct openings.
