 (1) Open these circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE identifiers:
 (a)  
Main power distribution panel, P6
 1) 6H31, FLT DK AIR FLOW CONT

 (b)  
Left power distribution center, P414 1) 414L12, FLT DK FLW REG FIRE CONT VALVE

 S 014-003
 (2)  Remove the floor panel that is over the valve at STA 1130, 45 inches to the left of the airplane centerline.
 NOTE: Remove the cargo handling harware, as required, to get access
____
 to the floor panel.

 D.  Remove the Valve
 S 034-004
 (1)  
Remove the electrical connector, DV552, from the valve.

 (2)  
Remove the two clamps from both ends of the valve.

 (3)  
Remove the valve.

 (4)  
Put covers over the duct openings.

 C. Install the Valve
 S 034-009
 (1)  Remove the covers from the duct openings.
 (a)  Make sure there is no unwanted material in the ducts.
 S 984-010
 (2)  Put the valve in its position between the ducts.
 (a)  Make sure the valve actuator is oriented facing aft.

Install the two clamps on both ends of the valve.

Install the electrical connector, DV552, on the valve.

Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE identifiers and close these circuit breakers:

 (a)  
Main power distribution panel, P6
 1) 6H31, FLT DK AIR FLOW CONT

 (b)  
Left power distribution center, P414 1) 414L12, FLT DK FLW REG FIRE CONT VALVE

 

 D. Do the Installation Test of the Valve
 S 864-017
 (1)  
Supply electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).

 (2)  
Set the GND TESTS switch on the overhead maintenance panel, P461, to the ENABLE position.

 (3)  
Prepare the CDU for the test:

 (a)  
Push the MENU key on the CDU to show the MENU.

 (b)  
Push the line select key (LSK) that is adjacent to <CMC to show the CMC MENU.
