Make a list of all the CMCS messages, CMCS message numbers, and ATA numbers that show on the GROUND TEST MSG pages. 1) If the trim air regulating valve failed in the open
position, make sure the CMCS message number 21167 shows.
(d)
Go to the CMCS Message Index of the Fault Isolation Manual (FIM) to find the corrective action for each CMCS message.

Supply electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).

Start the air conditioning packs (AMM 21-00-00/201).

Close all the cabin doors.
NOTE: You must do this step to minimize external influences on the
____ cabin temperature when the cabin temperature stabilizes.

Push the ZONE SELECT switch on the cabin temperature selector in the upper deck until the zone display shows U (Upper Deck).

Push the COOLER switch until the target temperature is 19.

Push the ZONE SELECT switch until the zone display shows C (Crew Rest Area).

Push the COOLER switch until the target temperature is 19.

Make sure on the EICAS ECS maintenance page that the zone U/D and C/R trim valve positions decrease (Move toward closed).
