(1) Open the access door to the water separator for the applicable pack (Ref 06-09-03/201):
-192H-R for pack 3
-191N-L for pack 1 or 2.

(2) AIRPLANES WITHOUT THE "WATER SEP DELTA P" INDICATION SHOWN ON THE EICAS "ECS" MAINTENANCE PAGE; Do these steps to install the test equipment to the water separator:
(a) Remove the pressure boss plugs from the water separator.
NOTE: The pressure boss plugs are found at the inlet and the
____ outlet of the water separator outer surface.
(b)
Install two couplings that can attach to the differential pressure bosses.
(c)
Install the pressure manometer to the couplings.

Use the APU to supply pneumatic pressure (Ref 36-00-00/201).
(4)
Operate the applicable pack (Ref 21-00-00/201).
(5)
Let the differential pressure become stable for five minutes.

(6) Make a record of the differential pressure shown on the pressure manometer or as shown on the EICAS ECS maintenance page for airplanes with the WATER SEP DELTA P indication.
NOTE: The coalescer bag in the water separator needs to be cleaned
____ when the differential pressure is more than or equal to
3.5 psid (24.1 kPa). It is also necessary to do the fault isolation procedure for the fault code 21 20 12 00; Ice in Air Conditioning Ducts (FIM 21-FAULT CODE INDEX).

Shut down the pack (Ref 21-00-00/201).

Remove the pneumatic pressure (Ref 36-00-00/201).

Do the Water Separator Cleaning task to clean the coalescer bag in the water separator.

(12) Close the access doors which you opened to get access to the water separators.
