4) Lower Aft Cargo Valve - Up

(4) Install the clamps at each end of the modulating valve.

(5) Tighten the clamp nuts to the following torque while you hit each clamp lightly with a plastic or rawhide mallet: (a) Lower Aft Cargo Valve - 75 | 10 in-lbs (b) All other valves - 50 | 5 in-lbs.

(6) Install the bonding jumper on the modulating valve if you installed one of the following valves: (a) Forward of Aft Main Deck Valves (b) Lower Forward of Aft Cargo Valves

(7) Make sure that the bonding resistance between the valve and the bonding jumper is at not more than 0.010 ohms.

Supply electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).

Do a ground test for the trim air system at the CMC CDU
(AMM 21-61-00/501):
(a)
Make sure the TRIM AIR switch on the overhead P5 panel is set to OFF.
(b)
Select GROUND TEST on the CMC main menu.
(c)
Select Chapter 21 AIR CONDITIONING on the CMC.
(d)
Select TRIM AIR SYSTEM on the CMC.
(e)
Make sure that the IN PROGRESS indication shows on the CMC CDU.
(f)
Make sure that the PASS indication shows on the CMC CDU.

(3) Do a check of the valve installation for leaks:
