D. Procedure

(1) Examine the ducts for the following conditions:
NOTE: When you are instructed to do a duct inspection, you will
____ look for these conditions. If you find any of these conditions, you must repair the defect.
(a)
Cracks, dents, or worn areas on the ducts
(b)
Duct support clamps that are loose or damaged
(c)
Duct couplings that are loose or damaged
(d)
Leakage of air from a duct that can be felt by hand
(e)
Leakage of air from a duct joint that can be felt by hand

(2) Inspect these ducts in the forward cargo compartment:
(a)
Get access to the ducts in the main equipment center through the doors on the left and right sides of the forward bulkhead in the forward cargo compartment. 1) Make an inspection of the ducts to the E1 and E2 racks,
main power center panels, and the flight deck.
(b)
Get access to the area between the nose gear well and the fuselage on the right side. 1) Make an inspection of the ducts that go to the flight
