Put the jackshaft (8) in its position for the pushrod installation.

Turn the jackshaft until the rig pin can be installed through the outboard forks and the mounting bracket of the brake switch (Ref Fig. 401, Sheet 2, Detail D).

Install the parking brake lever (2) until the stop surface of the lever is against the top of the control stand (Fig. 401, Detail E).

Loosen the bolts on mounting bracket of the switch.

Turn the switch assembly to get a gap of 0.23 +/- 0.03 inches between the switch actuator roller and the end of the pushrod (7).

Attach the switch.
