ANTISKID SYSTEM - ADJUSTMENT/TEST

1. General
A. The ground test properties are assembled into the antiskid control unit. Four test switches, six indicator lights, and one selector switch are there for a quick check of each channel of the system.
B. This test is made to first test the indication/monitor function and then test each component of the antiskid system:
(1)
antiskid control unit
(2)
antiskid control valves
(3)
wheel speed tranducers
(4)
switches
C.
If it is necessary to do a test on all of the antiskid system, do all the tests in sequence.

Prepare for the Test

Make sure you install the ground locks in all the landing gears (AMM 32-00-01/201).
(2)
Pressurize hydraulic system B (AMM 29-15-00/201).
(3)
Supply electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).

Remove DO-NOT-CLOSE tags and close these circuit breakers:
(a)
P6-3 Panel 1) Landing gear ANTI-SKID FAIL WARN & PARK BK 2) CONTROL CABIN LIGHTING, INDICATOR, MASTER DIM BUS

Open these circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:
(a)
P6 Panel 1) AUTOSLAT NO. 1 AC (On airplanes with Digital Stall Warning
and Autoslat Computers) 2) AUTOSLAT NO. 1 DC 3) AUTOSLAT NO. 2 AC (On airplanes with Digital Stall Warning
and Autoslat Computers)
4) AUTOSLAT NO. 2 DC

Make sure you install chocks on the wheels.

Antiskid Indication Monitor Function Test

(1)
Do the test for the antiskid indication monitor function.
(a)
Set the parking brake. 1) Make sure the parking brake light comes on.
(b)
Open the ANTI-SKID FAIL WARN & PARK BK circuit breaker on the P6-3 panel. 1) Make sure the parking brake light goes off.
(c)
Close the ANTI-SKID FAIL WARN & PARK BK circuit breaker.
(d)
Release the parking brake. 1) Make sure the landing gear lever is in the DN position.
(e)
Open the LANDING GEAR ANTI-SKID INBD and OUTBD circuit breakers on the P6-3 panel.
(f)
Put the ANTI-SKID switch on the P2 panel to the OFF position.
(g)
Put the LIGHTS switch on the P2 panel to BRT.
1) Make sure that the ANTI-SKID INOP light on the P2 panel comes on.
(h)
Put the ANTI-SKID switch to the ON position. 1) Make sure the ANTI-SKID INOP light stays on.
(i)
Close the ANTI-SKID INBD circuit breaker.
