Remove the pressure from hydraulic system A and B
(AMM 29-15-00/201).

Loosen the filter bowl.

Remove the retainers and the O-rings from the filter cover and discard the O-rings and the retainers.

(5) Pull the filter from the module and seal the port with a plug.

(1)
Install the filter with new O-rings and new retainers.
(a)
Lubricate the O-rings and the retainers with BMS 3-11 hydraulic fluid during installation.

Install the filter bowl in the module.
(a)
Tighten the bowl 240 to 360 pound-inches and install the lockwire.

(3) Pressurize hydraulic system B (AMM 29-15-00/201) and do a check for leaks.

CAUTION: WHEN YOU REMOVE THE SHUTOFF VALVE FROM THE MODULE, MAKE SURE
_______ THE VALVE IS KEPT IN A VERTICAL POSITION. IF THE VALVE IS NOT KEPT IN A VERTICAL POSITION, DAMAGE TO THE CONNECTOR PINS CAN OCCUR.

Remove the mounting screws and lift the shutoff valve from the module.

Remove the O-ring from the valve connector and seal the connector with a cap and the receptacle with a plug.

CAUTION: WHEN YOU REMOVE THE SHUTOFF VALVE AND THE SEAL PLATE, MAKE SURE
_______ NO CONTAMINANTS GO INTO THE OPEN PORTS ON THE MODULE. DAMAGE TO THE VALVE CAN OCCUR IF CONTAMINANTS GO INTO THE PORTS.
