Put chocks on the wheels and release the parking brakes.

Supply external electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).

Fully operate the brakes 12 times to remove the pressure from the brake system accumulator.

Make sure that the accumulator gages agree with the placard and adjust the precharge pressure if it is necessary.

Remove the upper bleed screw at each brake and install the pressure gage at each upper bleed port.

Make sure that you close the HYD SYSTEM, BRAKE PRESS IND, SYS B and SYS A circuit breakers on the P6-2 panel.

Do a Test for the Main Gear Brakes Test

(1)
Do a test of the system B operation:
(a)
Pressurize the hydraulic system B to 3000 +150/-200 psi (AMM 29-15-00/201).
(b)
Fully push the brake pedals of the captain against the stops.
(c)
Make sure that the brake gage pressure is 3000 +150/-200 psi.
(d)
Make sure that the brake gage pressure and the system B gage pressure of the flight compartment are in |100 psi of each other.
(e)
Release the brake pedals of the captain.
(f)
Make sure that the brake pressure is less than 60 psi after you release the brake pedals.
(g)
Fully push the brake pedals of the first officer against the stops.
(h)
Make sure that the brake gage pressure is 3000 +150/-200 psi.
(i)
Make sure that the brake gage pressure and the system B gage pressure of the flight compartment are in |100 psi of each other.
(j)
Release the brake pedals of the first officer.
(k)
Make sure that the brake pressure is less than 60 psi after you release the brake pedals.
(l)
Make sure that the pressure gages that follow are in |100 psi of the system B pressure gage during the above tests: 1) the brake pressure gage of the flight compartment 2) the servicing pressure gage of the accumulator in the main
wheel well.

Do a test of the wheel de-spin:
(a)
Pressurize systems A and B to 3000 +100/-200 psi (AMM 29-15-00/201).

(b)
Put the landing gear control lever in the UP position.
(c)
Make sure that the brake pressure at each brake increases 480 +/- 80 psi in 4 seconds.
(d)
Put the landing gear control lever in the OFF position.
(e)
Make sure that the brake pressure decreases to a maximum of 60 psi.
(f)
Put the landing gear control lever in the DN position.
