 (a) While you turn the wheel, tighten the axle nut to 300
 pound-feet lube torque.
 (b) Loosen the nut to zero torque.
 (c) While you turn the wheel, tighten axle nut to 150 pound-feet in
 one continuous turn of the axle nut.
 NOTE: This method will prevent an incorrect indication of the____
 break-away torque (caused by the stop and start turn of
 the nut).
 (d) Make sure the lock holes are aligned.

 (e)  If lock holes are not aligned, continue to tighten the nut to the first lock hole.

 Do a check on the tire for correct tire pressure (AMM 12-15-51/301).

 NOSE LANDING GEAR WHEEL - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

 1.  General_______
 A.  This procedure tells you how to remove and install the nose landing gear wheel (referred to as "wheel" in this procedure).
 B.  When you replace a nose wheel and tire assembly, you can replace the wheel and tire assembly on the other side. Differences in the diameter between the new and worn tires can contribute vibration to the nose landing gear. You can decrease this if you install the tires that have equal pressure, nearly the same inflated diameters, and matching supplier part numbers.
 C.  Temporary use of 737-200 wheel and tire assemblies on 737-300 or 737-400 airplanes is permitted by service bulletin 737-32-1160. You must refer to this service bulletin before you install 737-200 wheel and tire assemblies on 737-300 or 737-400 airplanes. You can not use a 737-200 wheel and tire assembly on a 737-500 airplanes.
