 (9)  Turn the autobrake selector switch to position 1.
 NOTE: Continue to hold the AIR SENSE switch.

 (a)  
Open the AUTOBRAKE CONT circuit breaker (on the P6-3 panel).

 (b)  
Make sure the AUTOBRAKE DISARM light comes on.

 (c)  
Close the AUTOBRAKE CONT circuit breaker (on the P6-3 panel).

 (d)  
Make sure the AUTOBRAKE DISARM light goes off.

 Release the AIR SENSE test switch.

 Turn the autobrake selector switch to the OFF position.

 Turn the autobrake selector switch to the RTO position.

 (a)  
Make sure the AUTOBRAKE DISARM light comes on for approximately 1 1/2 seconds and then goes off.

Autobrake Response Test


 NOTE:____This test is time sensitive. You must do the steps in the time specified or the system will disarm. If the system disarms, you must start the test again.

 (1)  Press and hold the ABS button on the front of the antiskid control unit.
 NOTE: Hold the ABS button until you are told to release it.

 (2)  
Do the steps that follow with a maximum of 15 seconds for each step (Do not let more than 15 seconds occur between each of the steps):

 (a)  
Turn the autobrake selector switch to position 1.

 (b)  
Move the speedbrake lever to the ARMED position.

 (c)  
Move the speedbrake lever to the STOWED position.

 (d)  
Move the two thrust levers forward.

 (e)  
Move the two thrust levers rearward.

 (f)  
Monitor the pressure gages at the brake.

 (g)  
After a maximum of 36 seconds, make sure the brake pressure gages read 300 psi +/- 150 psi for a maximum of 15 seconds. 1) During this time, make sure all four wheel brake stacks are

 closed.

 (h)  
Make sure the pressure on the gages then increases smoothly and linearly to a pressure greater than 2900 psi.

 (i)  
Make sure the gage stays at more than 2900 psi for
 approximately 5 seconds.


 (j)  
Make sure the pressure decreases to 50 +/- 50 psi.

 (k)  
Make sure the AUTOBRAKE DISARM light and the ABS LED on the antiskid control module start to flash.

 (l)  
Wait 5 seconds, then push the right brake pedal lightly.

 (m)  
Make sure the AUTOBRAKE DISARM light and the ABS LED stay on and do not flash.

 (n)  
Turn the autobrake selector switch to the OFF position.

 (3)  Do the steps that follow with a maximum of 15 seconds for each step (Do not let more than 15 seconds occur between each of the steps):

As soon as the pressure increases to more than 1500 psi, move thrust lever No. 1 forward. Do the steps that follow with a maximum of seven seconds for each step: 1) Make sure the brake pressure decreases to less than 100


 psi. 2) Move thrust lever No. 1 rearward and make sure the pressure increases. 3) Move thrust lever No. 2 forward and make sure the brake pressure decreases to less than 100 psi.
