AUTOBRAKE PRESSURE CONTROL MODULE - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General
A. This procedure removes and installs the pressure control module of the autobrake.

Make sure you install the ground locks in the main and the nose landing gears (AMM 32-00-01/201).

Put chocks below the wheels.

Supply electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).

Open the AUTOBRAKE CONTR circuit breaker on the P6-3 panel and attach a DO-NOT-CLOSE tag.

Release the parking brake.

Remove the pressure from hydraulic systems A and B
(AMM 29-15-00/201).

Remove the Autobrake Pressure Control Module (Fig. 401)
(1)
Disconnect the hydraulic lines from the module and seal with a cap.

Disconnect the electrical plugs connected to the module and seal the plugs and connections with caps.

Remove the four attach bolts and the module.

If it is necessary on the replacement module, remove the hydraulic fittings and discard the O-rings and the backup rings.

Seal the ports with plugs.

Install the Pressure Control Module of the Autobrake

If it is necessary, install the hydraulic fittings with new O-rings and backup rings in the ports of the module.

Lubricate the O-rings, the backup rings, and the fittings with BMS 3-11 hydraulic fluid.

Attach the module to the mounting support with bolts and tighten the bolts.

Connect the hydraulic lines and the electrical connectors to the modules and install lockwire.
