Set the valve on the mounting bracket and install three mounting bolts.
(2)
Remove the caps from the hydraulic lines and the fittings.
(3)
Connect the hydraulic lines to the valve.

Pressurize the hydraulic system A and examine the system for hydraulic leaks (AMM 29-15-00/201).

CAUTION:_______ PUSH THE KNOB IN BEFORE YOU PUT THE LOCKPIN IN TO REMOVE THE
HYDRAULIC PRESSURE FROM THE STEERING SYSTEM. YOU CAN CAUSE
DAMAGE TO THE STEERING COMPONENTS WHEN YOU TOW OR YOU TURN THE
NOSE GEAR.
(5)
Operate the steering depressurization valve.
(a)
Push the knob on the depressurization valve of the steering on the nose landing gear. 1) Install the steering lockpin (AMM 32-00-01/201).
(b)
Disconnect the torsion link at the apex pin.

(6) Turn the collar of the nose landing gear (with use of the upper torsion link) to the left side and the right side from the neutral position 15 |5 degrees.
NOTE: Make sure there is not much more resistance than the
____ correct friction. The pilot's steering wheel must be free to turn.

CAUTION: MAKE SURE THAT THE TORSION LINK (STEERING COLLAR) WILL MOVE TO
_______ THE POSITION OF THE STEERING WHEEL. FAILURE TO POSITION THE TORSION LINK CORRECTLY CAN CAUSE A PROBLEM.
(7) Remove the steering lockpin from the steering depressurization valve.

CAUTION:_______MAKE SURE YOU HOLD THE UPPER TORSION LINK. FAILURE TO HOLD THE UPPER TORSION LINK CAN PERMIT IT TO TOUCH OTHER COMPONENTS AND CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(8)
Turn the captain's steering wheel to the left side then to the right side 15 |5 degrees.
(a)
Make sure the torsion links of the nose landing gear steers to the left side and to the right side.

(9) Turn the captain's steering wheel to align the upper and the lower torsion links.

1. General________
A. This procedure contains two tasks:
(1)
The removal of the rotary actuator from the rudder pedal steering.
(2)
The installation of the rotary actuator on the ruder pedal steering.
