CAUTION:_______ WHEN YOU TURN THE ANTISKID TRANSDUCER, DO NOT ATTACH
A METAL FITTING DIRECTLY ON THE TRANSDUCER. DAMAGE
TO THE EQUIPMENT CAN OCCUR. IF YOU USE A METAL
FITTING, PUT A PROTECTIVE COVER ON THE ANTISKED
TRANSDUCER.
2) Turn the transducer while you do a check to make sure that you do not have these conditions: a) Too much free play of the bearing. b) A drive shaft that is bent.
Do these steps to prepare to do a test of the electrical operation of the transducer: 1) Open this circuit breaker on the P6 main power distribution
panel and attach a DO-NOT-CLOSE tag:
a) ANTISKID FAIL WARN & PARK BRAKE 2) Make sure that the parking brake is released. 3) Disconnect the electrical connector D928 from the parking
brake shutoff valve. 4) Make sure that the ANTISKID INOP light on the pilot's panel comes on.
5) Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tag and close this circuit breaker on the P6 main power distribution panel: a) ANTISKID FAIL WARN & PARK BRAKE
6) Set the parking brake.
Do this test if you installed a transducer on the left outboard
wheel:
NOTE: You can see the brakes "apply" and "release" if you
____ watch the brake wear pins move. The pins will extend farther out of the carrier when the brake releases (AMM 32-41-41/601).

approximately 500-1000 RPM . 2) Make sure that the right outboard brake releases. 3) Stop the movement of the transducer as quickly as possible.
