_______ GEAR. AN ACCIDENTAL RETRACTION OF THE LANDING GEAR CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(1)
Install the ground locks in all landing gear (AMM 32-00-01/201).
(2)
Put chocks at all of the landing gear wheels.
(3)
Release the parking brake.
(4)
Remove power from the hydraulic systems A and B (AMM 29-15-00/201).

Bleed the pressure from the brake accumulator:
(a)
Operate the brake pedals until the gage at the brake accumulator shows no change in the pressure.
NOTE: You will have to operate the brake pedals approximately
____ 12 times to fully release the pressure from the accumulator.

Disconnect the hydraulic lines from the metering valve.
(a)
Put caps on the valve ports.
(b)
Put caps on the hydraulic lines.

(2) Remove the brake feel augmentor from the primary metering valve (AMM 32-41-97/401).
NOTE: It is not necessary to do this step for the removal of the

alternate metering valve.

Remove the metering valve:
(a)
Remove the three bolts which hold the metering valve to the ceiling of the wheel well.
