ANTISKID SYSTEM - TROUBLE SHOOTING

1. General_______
A. Antiskid system trouble symptoms are best identified by performing a test of the antiskid system (Ref Antiskid System - A/T).
B. A malfunction of the antiskid system is indicated when the ANTISKID INOP light on the pilot's center panel P2 comes on. Isolation of the malfunction can be accomplished by using the Built-In Test diagnostic capability of the antiskid control unit. By proper interpretation of the LED readout at prescribed switch positions, faults can be isolated to a specific component of the antiskid system.
C. Faults indicated during system test which do not result in illumination of the ANTISKID INOP light are generally resolved by replacement of the antiskid control unit (AMM 32-42-21/401).
2. Prepare to Trouble Shoot Antiskid System________________________________________
A. Check that ground lock assemblies are installed in all landing gears (AMM 32-00-01/201).
B. Provide electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201) and close the following circuit breakers on P6 panel.

Landing gear ANTI-SKID FAIL WARN & PARK BK, INBD ANTISKID, OUTBD ANTISKID
(2)
CONTROL CABIN LIGHTING, INDICATOR, MASTER DIM BUS (9 Breakers: BAT, NO. 1 DC, NO. 2 DC, SECT 1, SECT 2, SECT 3, SECT 4, SECT 5, SECT 6)

CONTROL CABIN LIGHTING, PANEL & INSTR, DIM & TEST
(4)
Open the following circuit breakers on P6 panel:
(a)
AUTOSLAT NO. 1 AC (On airplanes with the Digital Stall Warning the Autoslat Computers)
(b)
AUTOSLAT NO. 1 DC
(c)
AUTOSLAT NO. 2 AC (On airplanes with the Digital Stall Warning and the Autoslat Computers)
(d)
AUTOSLAT NO. 2 DC
C.
Check that wheel chocks are in place.
