(2) Make a record of the System B brake pressure.
NOTE: You can read the pressures from the brake pressure gage in
____ the flight compartment, or the brake accumulator gage in the wheel well.

Shut off the source of hydraulic power for System B after 10 minutes. Make a record of the time that you shut off the hydraulic power as the time that the test starts.

Do a check of the brake pressure at 30 minutes after the test starts. The pressure decrease of the brake accumulator should be less than 450psi.

If the brake accumulator pressures bleed down faster than is allowed, do the Brake Accumulator - Parking Brake Released trouble shooting procedure (AMM 32-44-00/101).

Put the Airplane to its Usual Condition

(1)
Remove the pressure gages and install the bleeder screws at the upper bleed ports of the brakes.

Pressurize the hydraulic System B (AMM 29-15-00/201).
(3)
Push the brake pedals slowly and fully 6 times to bleed the brakes.
(4)
Set the parking brake.
(5)
Remove the System B hydraulic power (AMM 29-15-00/201).

Remove the external power if you do not need electrical power on the airplane (AMM 24-22-00/201).

PARKING BRAKE LINKAGE - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General
A. This procedure removes and installs the parking brake linkage.

Make sure you install the ground locks in the nose landing gear (AMM 32-00-01/201).

Disengage the pushrod (7) from the lever (6) on the lockshaft (3).

Remove the attach bolt and take the lever off the shaft.

Remove the bolts that attach the bearing housing (4) at the inboard end of the lockshaft.

Hit the lockshaft inboard until the outboard end disengages from the bearing.

Remove the bearing and the housing from the inboard end of the shaft and disconnect the return spring (5) from the structure.
(7)
Remove the shaft in an aft and outboard direction.

Remove the aft end of the pushrod (7) from the jackshaft (8) and remove the pushrod.

Disengage the pushrod (10) at the lever on the inboard end of the jackshaft.

Remove the nut (9) on the end of the stud through the jackshaft.

Hit the stud out and remove the jackshaft.
