4) Move thrust lever No. 2 rearward and make sure the brake pressure remains at less than 100 psi.

Release the ABS button on the front of the antiskid control unit.

Make sure the AUTOBRAKE DISARM light and the ABS LED stay on and do not flash.

AUTOBRAKE SHUTTLE VALVE - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General
A. This procedure installs the autobrake shuttle valves. The valves are found on the aft bulkhead of the wheel well of the main landing gear.

Prepare for Removal

Make sure you install the ground locks in all the landing gear (Ref 32-00-01/201).

Put chocks in their position on the wheels and release the parking brake.

Remove the pressure from hydraulic system A and system B (Ref 29-15-00/201).

(4)
Slowly operate the brakes 12 times to remove the hydraulic pressure in the brake accumulator (or until the brake accumulator gage does not show a pressure drop with each brake operation).

Open the circuit breaker, AUTOBRAKE CONTROL, on the P6 Panel and attach a DO-NOT-CLOSE tag.

Remove Autobrake Shuttle Valve
(1)
Disconnect the electrical connector from the switch on the valve.
(2)
Disconnect the hydraulic lines.
(3)
Remove the unions and the packing.

Seal the lines and ports with caps and plugs.

Hold the valve and remove the three bolts that attach the valve to the mounting bracket.
