 (3)
Do a test on the system A operation:

 (a)
With the pressure removed from system B, pressurize system A to 3000 +150/-200 psi (AMM 29-15-00/201).

 (b)
Apply a 25 +/- 2 pounds force to the top of the left brake pedal of the Captain (or First Officer). 1) Write the brake pressure that is shown.

 (c)
Apply a 25 +/- 2 pounds force to the top of the right brake pedal of the Captain (or First Officer). 1) Make sure the indicated brake pressure is +/- 125 psi of

the brake pressure you wrote down for the left brake pedal.

 (d)
If the brake pressure you got for the brake pedals is not +/- 125 psi of each other, do the steps that follow: 1) Do a final adjustment for the roller/plunger gap of the

alternate system metering valve. a) Use the procedure (Adjust Metering Valve Rollers) to adjust one of the alternate system rollers.
NOTE: When you increase the gap, the brake pressure
____ reduces. When you decrease the gap the brake increases.
It could be necessary to adjust the gap out of the initial adjustment range shown in Fig. 502. If this is the case, use 0.023 to 0.060 inch as the final range for the roller/plunger gap of the alternate system metering valve.

 (e)
Fully push the brake pedals of the captain against the stops. 1) Make sure that the brake gage pressure is 3000 +150/-200 psi.

 2)  Make sure that the brake gage pressure and the system A gage pressure of the flight compartment are in |100 psi of each other.

 (f)
Release captain brake pedals of the captain.

 1)  Make sure that the brake pressure is less than 60 psi after you release the brake pedals.

 (g)
Fully push the brake pedals of the first officer against the stops. 1) Make sure that the brake gage pressure shows

 3000 +150/-200 psi.
 2)  Make sure that the brake gage pressure and A system gage pressure of the flight compartment are in |100 psi of each other.
 (h) Release the brake pedals of the first officer.
 1)  Make sure that the brake pressure is less than 60 psi after you release the brake pedals.
