 (c) Make a check of the wire tags installed on the switch in the
 removal task.
 1) Make sure the wires are connected to the correct terminals.
 (d) Put the switch and the support bracket assembly in the correct
 position on the control lever assembly.
 (e) Install the switch mounting bolts, washers, and nuts.
 NOTE: Insert a minimum of 1 washer to a maximum of 4 washers____
 between the switch and support bracket to make sure that
 the position switch roller has complete contact with the
 lever.
 (f) Install the bolts that attach the switch support bracket to the
 control lever assembly.
 1) Do not tighten the bolts at this time.
 (g) Move the control lever to the DN position.
 (h) Adjust the support bracket position until the position switch
 ú  actuates with the lever 0.06-0.12 inches from the bottom of the
 ú  detent.(Fig. 401)
 (i) Tighten the bolts on the switch support bracket.
 (j) Remove the feeler gauge.
 (k) Lift and attach the instrument panel for the first officer.

 (3) Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags and close all the circuit breakers for
 the landing gear on the circuit breaker panel, P6-2.
 E.  Do a Test of the Position Switch Operation
 S 714-009
 (1) Do these steps to do a test of the position switch operation:
 (a) Supply electrical power (Ref 24-22-00/201).
 WARNING: MAKE SURE YOU INSTALL THE GROUND LOCKS ON THE NOSE AND_______
 MAIN LANDING GEAR BEFORE YOU MOVE THE CONTROL LEVER FOR
 THE LANDING GEAR. IF YOU MOVE THE CONTROL LEVER WITHOUT
 THE GROUND LOCKS INSTALLED, THE LANDING GEAR CAN RETRACT
 AND CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
 (b) Make sure the ground locks are installed on the nose and main
 landing gear (Ref 32-00-01/201).
 (c) Put the control lever for the landing gear in the OFF position.
 (d) Make sure the red warning lights for the landing gear are on.
 (e) Put the control lever for the landing gear in the DN position.
 (f) Make sure the red warning lights for the landing gear go off.

 (2) Remove electrical power if it is not necessary (Ref 24-22-00/201).

 MAIN GEAR UPLOCK SENSOR - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

 1.  General

 A.  This procedure has two tasks. These tasks remove and install the uplock sensor for the main landing gear.
 B.  This procedure is applicable to the uplock sensor on the left and the right main landing gear.
 C.  The uplock sensor for the main gear is found on the uplock hook near the top of the main gear.

 WARNING: MAKE SURE THE GROUND LOCKS ARE INSTALLED ON THE NOSE AND MAIN

Make sure the ground locks are installed on the nose and main landing gear (AMM 32-00-01/201).

Open all of the circuit breakers for the landing gear on the circuit breaker panel, P6-2, and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags.

Do these steps to remove the uplock sensor from the main landing gear:

 (a)  
Remove the two nuts and all washers.

 (b)  
Make a note of the locations and tag the spacers so you can install the spacers in the same location.
