Install the ground locks in the nose landing gear
(AMM 32-00-01/201).

Loosen the cable tension at the turnbuckles in cables NWSA and NWSB to get access through the panel 1103.

Remove the button plug (9) in the steering wheel (1).

Remove the wheel nut (10).

Remove the steering wheel (1) and the spacer (7).

Remove the sidewall (3) (AMM 25-21-46/401).

Remove the three screws and the bearing retainer (11).

Remove the cotter key and the shaft nut (18).

Hold the cable drum (4) and pull out the shaft (17) sufficient to remove the inboard bearing (8) and the spacer (6).
