(2) Close the access door, 6540, for the refuel control panel (P15).

ú (3) Remove the locks on the leading edge flaps (AMM 27-81-00/201).

FUEL QUANTITY INDICATING SYSTEM - ADJUSTMENT/TEST

1. General_______
A. This procedure has these tasks:
(1)
A test for the correct operation of the fuel quantity indicating system
(2)
A system trim
(3)
A system test
B. To do the test for the correct operation, you push the test switch in the control cabin and make sure the indicators operate. You do this procedure again at the P15 refuel panel on the wing.
C. You must do a check of the value on the applicable fuel quantity
indicator after you replace one of these components:
(1)
The fuel quantity indicator
(2)
The tank unit
(3)
The compensator
(4)
The wire bundle
(5)
The capacitance trimmer.
D. Compare the value shown on each indicator to the applicable value in this table to see if you must do the trim procedure or the system test of the fuel quantity indicating system:
NOTE: You must do this check before you put the fuel in the tank.

NOTE: The fuel quantity indicators must show a value of zero when
____ the fuel quantity test switch is pushed and held and the indicator is correctly adjusted. This table shows how much adjustment is required by the indicator.
