Read the total resistance for the tank units.


 (a)  Make sure that the measured resistance is more than 250 megohms.

 (9)  Read the total resistance for the compensator.
 (a)  Make sure that the measured resistance is more than 250 megohms.

 (10) Set the FUNCTION MEASURE switch (PSD40-1) or set the SELECT switch (PSD60-1) to each of the SHLD or GND positions shown in the table below.
 (a)  Make sure that the measured resistance is more than the minimum resistance shown:

 (11) If a measured resistance value is less that the minimum value, do a check for:
 (a)  
A short circuit at the J1 connector (at the IFQT-end of the harness).

 (b)  
A short circuit at the 11-pin connector (at the tank connector-end of the harness).

 (c)  
A short circuit at the wing/body disconnect (for left or right main tanks only).


 H. Put the Airplane Back to its Usual Condition

 (1)  Disconnect the test harness from the bussing plug.

 (2)  S 086-042-002Remove the test harness and the system test set.
 (3)  S 436-043-002Connect the electrical connector to the bussing plug.
 (4)  S 846-044-002Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags and close these circuit breakers: (a) P6 Main Power Distribution Panel 1) EP GND FUELING 2) QTY
 (5)  S 656-045-002Refuel the fuel tank if it is necessary (AMM 12-11-00/301).

 WARNING: THE STEPS BELOW MUST BE DONE CAREFULLY TO REMOVE THE LE FLAP
_______ SAFETY LOCKS. THE LE FLAPS CAN MOVE QUICKLY IF THE SAFETY LOCKS ARE NOT REMOVED CORRECTLY. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
 (6)  Remove the locks on the leading edge flaps (AMM 27-81-00/201).
 S 866-047-002 WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF THE LE AND TE
_______ FLAPS AND FLAP DRIVE MECHANISMS BEFORE MOVING THE FLAPS. THE FLAPS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
 (7)  
Retract the leading edge flaps (AMM 27-81-00/201). S 866-048-002

 (8)  
Remove the electrical power, if it is not necessary for other tasks (AMM 24-22-00/201).
