Retract the leading edge flaps (AMM 27-81-00/201).

 FUEL SUMMATION UNIT - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

 1.  General_______
 A. This procedure has two tasks:
 (1)  
A task to remove the fuel summation unit (FSU) from the first officer's auxiliary panel in the control cabin.

 (2)  
A task to install the FSU in the first officer's auxiliary panel in the control cabin.


 TASK 28-41-81-004-002
 2.  Fuel Summation Unit Removal___________________________
 A. Access
 (1)  Location Zones
 102 Control Cabin Right

 B. Procedure
 S 864-003
 (1) Open these circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:
 (a)  On the main power distribution panel P6: 1) QTY 2) EP GND FUELING
 S 034-004
 (2)  
Loosen the four mounting screws that attach the fuel summation unit to the first officer's auxiliary panel (Fig. 401).

 (3)  
Carefully move the fuel summation unit out of the first officer's auxiliary panel to get access to the rear of the FSU.

 (4)
Disconnect the FSU connector, D3224, from the rear of the FSU.

 (5)  
Put a cap on the connector and stow it.

Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags and close these circuit breakers:

 (a)  On the P6 panel:
 1) QTY
 2) EP GND FUELING

 (1) Open these circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:
 (a)  On the main power distribution panel P6: 1) QTY 2) EP GND FUELING

 (2)  
Remove the cap from the connector, D3224, for the fuel summation unit (FSU) in the first officer's auxiliary panel.

 (3)  
Connect the connector, D3224, to the rear of the FSU.

 (4)  
Carefully put the FSU into its position in the first officer's auxiliary panel.

 (5)  
Tighten the four mounting screws that attach the FSU to the P23 panel.

Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags and close these circuit breakers:
