(8) Do a check of the electrical bond between the APU fuel line and the airplane structure (SWPM 20-20-00).
(a) The resistance must not be more than 0.010 ohm.

(9) Pressurize the APU fuel line and do a check for leaks (air procedure).
(a)
Disconnect the fuel line from the suction port fitting.
(b)
Attach the air pressure source and the pressure gage to the suction port fitting.
(c)
Manually close the APU shutoff valve if it is open.
(d)
Pressurize the APU fuel line to a maximum of 40 psi.
(e)
Keep the pressure on the APU fuel line for a minimum of 5 minutes.
(f)
Look for signs of external leakage on all of the connections and the fittings on the APU fuel line.
(g)
The must be no leakage.
(h)
Release the pressure.
(i)
Remove the air source and the pressure gage.
(j)
Connect the APU fuel line to the suction port again.
(k)
Make sure the tube nuts are tight.

Remove all of the tools and equipment from the fuel tanks.

Install the access panel for the fuel tank (AMM 28-11-11/401).

Open the removal valve for the left boost pump for the center tank.

Install the access panel, 7201, for the boost pump.
NOTE: Make sure the removal valve is open before you install the

access panel.
