 (d)  
Write the value shown on the fuel quantity indicator.

 (e)  
Open the access door, 6540, for the refuel control panel (P15).

 (f)  
Write the value shown on the applicable refuel quantity indicator.

 (g)  
Compare the values on the fuel quantity indicator and the refuel quantity indicator.

 (h)  
The values must be the same with a tolerance of |20 pounds (|20 kilograms).

Do this task: "Operational Test - Fuel Quantity Indicating System".

 Remove the test equipment.

 (a)  
Open the QTY and EP GND FUELING circuit breakers.

 (b)  
Disconnect the test harness from the rear of the fuel quantity indicator and the airplane wire bundle.

 (c)  
Connect the airplane wire bundle to the rear of the fuel quantity indicator.

 (d)  
Install the fuel quantity indicator in the pilot's panel, and tighten the clamp screw.

 (11) Close these circuit breakers and remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:
 (a)  P6 Main Power Distribution Panel
 1) QTY
 2) EP GND FUELING

 S 975-025-001
 (12) Do a check of the values on the indicators with an empty tank.
 (a)  
Make sure the fuel quantity indicator shows a value of zero with the applicable tolerance:

 -Tanks No. 1 and 2: +110/-0 lbs (+50/-0 kgs)
 -Center tank: +170/-0 lbs (+80/-0 kgs)

 (b)  
Write the value shown on the fuel quantity indicator.

 (c)  
Open the access panel, 6540, for the refuel control panel, if the door is closed.

 (d)  
Write the value shown on the applicable refuel quantity indicator.

 (e)  
Compare the values on the fuel quantity indicator and the refuel quantity indicator.

 (f)  
The values must be the same with a tolerance of |20 pounds (|20 kilograms).
