 D. Close the Removal Valve for the Applicable Boost Pump

 (1)  Remove the access panels for the boost pumps in the applicable fuel tank (AMM 57-30-11/401).

 CAUTION: MAKE SURE YOU CLOSE THE REMOVAL VALVES FOR THE BOOST PUMPS FOR
_______ THE APPLICABLE TANK. UNWANTED FUEL FLOW CAN OCCUR WHEN YOU REMOVE THE LOW PRESSURE SWITCH.
 (2)  Close the removal valves for the boost pumps in the applicable tank.
 E. Remove the Low Pressure Switch (Fig. 401)

 (1)  
Disconnect the electrical connector from the low pressure switch (Fig. 401).

 (2)  
Put a small container below the low pressure switch to catch fuel leakage.

 (3)  
Remove the low pressure switch.

 C. Installation Procedure
 S 434-023
 (1)  
Install a new O-ring on the low pressure switch to be installed.

 S 424-014

 (2)  
Install the low pressure switch in the front spar.

 S 434-015

 (3)
Connect the electrical connector to the low pressure switch.

 NOTE: If the electrical connectors do not engage correctly,
____ make sure the low pressure switch has the correct part number. The electrical connector for the switches in the center tank is different from the electrical connector for the switches in the wing tanks.
 D. Put the Airplane Back to Its Usual Condition
 S 864-016
 (1)  If you did the procedure: "Close the Boost Pump Removal Valves in the Applicable Tank", do these steps:
 (a)  
Open the removal valves for the boost pumps in the applicable fuel tank.

 (b)  
Close the access panels for the fuel boost pumps (AMM 57-30-11/401).
