(1) Open these circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:
(a) P6 Main Power Distribution Panel 1) QTY 2) EP GND FUELING

(2)
Loosen the clamp screw of the applicable indicator.

(3)
Move the indicator away from the panel.
S 034-006

CAUTION: MAKE SURE YOU CONNECT THE INDICATOR TO THE CORRECT CONNECTOR.
_______ DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT CAN OCCUR IF THE INDICATOR SHOWS THE FUEL QUANTITY FOR THE WRONG TANK.
(1) Connect the electrical connector to the rear of the indicator.
NOTE: The wire bundle for the indicator for the No. 1 tank
____ (left wing tank) has red sleeving. The wire bundle for the indicator for the center tank has yellow sleeving. The wire bundle for the No. 2 tank (right wing tank) has blue sleeving.

Put the indicator into the panel.

Tighten the clamp screw on the indicator.

Close these circuit breakers and remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:
(a) P6 Main Power Distribution Panel
1) EP GND FUELING
2) QTY

Push the test switch on the indicator to make sure the indicator operates.

Do these steps to make sure the fuel quantity indicators are installed in the correct position:
(a)
Write down the fuel quantities shown by each of the fuel quantity indicators.
(b)
Disconnect the connector D884 at the bussing plug for the No. 1 main tank on the front spar.
(c)
AIRPLANES WITH DIGITAL INDICATORS; Make sure the indicator for the No. 1 tank shows zero fuel quantity and an error code.
(d)
AIRPLANES WITH ANALOG INDICATORS; Make sure the indicator for the No. 1 tank moves downscale from the value that you wrote down before.
(e)
Make sure the indicators for the center tank and the No. 2 tank show the same quantities that you wrote down before.
(f)
Connect the D884 connector again.
(g)
Disconnect the connector D886 at the center tank bussing plug on the rear in the wheel well.
