ISOLATED FUEL QUANTITY TRANSMITTER (IFQT) - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General_______
A. This procedure contains instructions to remove and install the isolated fuel quantity transmitter (IFQT) on all fuel tanks.
B. The IFQTs are found in the forward cargo compartment (Fig. 401).
C. Use extreme care when you do maintenance as damage to the receptacle or IFQT requires replacement of wire bundle or IFQT.

Make sure the airplane is static grounded (AMM 20-41-11/201).

Remove electrical power from the airplane (AMM 24-22-00/201).

Open these circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:
(a) P6 Main Power Distribution Panel
1) EP GND FUELING
2) FUEL QTY

Remove the forward cargo compartment ceiling liners from LH STA 380 to STA 540 (AMM 25-52-65/401).

Get access to the MX bay in the forward cargo compartment for the applicable IFQT installation location (Fig 401).

Remove the cargo liners in the forward cargo bay (AMM 25-52-73/401).
