 WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF THE LEADING
_______ EDGE AND TRAILING EDGE FLAPS AND FLAP DRIVE MECHANISMS BEFORE YOU MOVE THE FLAP CONTROL LEVER. WITH HYDRAULIC POWER REMOVED. THE FLAPS WILL MOVE AUTOMATICALLY BY ELECTRICAL POWER WHEN YOU MOVE THE FLAP CONTROL LEVER, THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
 (1)  For the No. 1 or 2 tank IFQT, extend the leading edge flaps (AMM 27-81-00/201).
 S 425-019
 WARNING: YOU MUST CAREFULLY DO THE STEPS IN THE TASK BELOW TO INSTALL
_______ THE LEADING EDGE FLAP SAFETY LOCKS. THE LEADING EDGE FLAPS CAN MOVE QUICKLY IF YOU DO NOT INSTALL THE SAFETY LOCKS CORRECTLY. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
 (2)  
Install safety locks on the leading edge flaps (AMM 27-81-00/201).

 (3)  
Measure the insulation resistance and tank capacitance (AMM 28-41-21/501), but connect the test set at the tank spar connector instead of at the flight deck indicator.

 (4)  
Apply electrical power to the system (AMM 24-22-00/201)

 (5)  Do the Operational Test - Fuel Quantity Indicating System procedure
 with the QTY TEST switch adjacent to the fuel quantity indicators
 (AMM 28-41-03/501).

 (6)  Remove all fuel from the applicable fuel tank, and the fuel in the
 sumps (AMM 28-23-00/201).
 NOTE:____ Fuel may be transferred to another tank for the purpose
 of the test.

Do a check of the applicable value display on the flight deck indicator with an empty tank.

Make sure the fuel quantity shown is in the limits (AMM 28-41-03/501).

Do a check of the applicable refuel panel indicator and compare it with the value on the flight deck indicator.

 Make sure the values are the same within the tolerance (AMM 28-41-03/501).

 Set up the applicable test sets as stated in the Operational Test -Fuel Quantity Indicating System procedure (AMM 28-41-03/501).

 Add capacitance to the system at the tank spar connector to simulate a full tank, use the ADDED CAPAITANCE (AMM 28-41-03/501).

 Do a check of the applicable value shown on the flight deck indicator with a full tank.

 C. Put the Airplane Back to its Usual Condition
