Connect the T connection to the HI-Z COAX receptacle on the test unit.

Connect a T connection between the test harness wires that have the UNSHIELDED label.

Connect the T connection to the LO-Z TANK receptacle on the test unit.
(r)
Connect a T connection between the test harness wires that have the COMP label.
(s)
Connect the T connection to the LO-Z COMP receptacle on the test unit.

Set the battery switch to ON.

(4) Do a check of the values on the fuel quantity indicators with a full tank.
(a)
Connect the test harness to the rear of the fuel quantity indicator.
(b)
Close the QTY and EP GND FUELING circuit breakers and let the system become warm for five minutes.

Open the access door, 6540, for the refuel control panel (P15).
(f)
Write the value shown on the applicable refuel quantity indicator.

Compare the values on the fuel quantity indicator and the refuel quantity indicator. 1) The values must be the same with a tolerance of |20 pounds
(|20 kilograms).

Remove the test equipment.
(a)
Open the QTY and EP GND FUELING circuit breakers.
(b)
Disconnect the test harness from the rear of the fuel quantity indicator and the airplane wire bundle.
(c)
Connect the airplane wire bundle to the rear of the fuel quantity indicator.
(d)
Install the fuel quantity indicator in the pilots' panel and tighten the clamp screw.
