Clean the O-ring groove in the gate assembly housing and machined surface of the front spar with solvent.

Install a new O-ring (lightly lubricated with fuel) into the groove on the gate assembly housing.

Carefully put the gate and actuator handle assembly into the port adapter, through the opening in the front spar.

(4)
Install the nuts and the washers into the gate and actuator housing assembly.
(a) Tighten the nuts to a torque of 50-70 pound-inches.
