(2) Remove the locks on the leading edge flaps (AMM 27-81-00/201).

A. This procedure has one task. The task is to compare these two
quantities:
(1)
The quantity of fuel shown on the refuel quantity indicators
(2)
The quantity of fuel measured with the fuel measuring sticks.

Measure the fuel quantity in each tank with the fuel measuring sticks (Ref 12-11-00/301).

Compare these two quantities:
(a)
The fuel quantity that you measured with the fuel measuring sticks
(b)
The fuel quantity shown on the refuel quantity indicator.
(c)
Make sure the two quantities are the same with a tolerance of |400 pounds (|200 kilograms).
(d)
If the two quantities do not agree with the correct tolerance, do this task: "System Adjustment - Fuel Quantity Indicating System" (AMM 28-41-00/501).

(4) S 656-006Use this Task: Refuel Operation When the Fuel Quantity Indicating System does not Operate (AMM 12-11-00/301), to put a known quantity of fuel in the center tank.
(5) S 976-007Make sure the known quantity that is put in the center tank and the fuel quantity on the center tank refuel indicator agree with a tolerance of | 400 pounds ( | 200 kilograms). (a) If the two quantities do not agree with the correct tolerance, do this Task: System Adjustment - Fuel Quantity Indicating System (AMM 28-41-00/501).
(6) S 416-005Close the access door for the refuel station (P15).
