Set the FUNCTION switch to CAP SIM 1.

Connect a tee between the test harness wires that have the COAXIAL label.

Connect the tee to the HI-Z COAX receptacle on the system test unit.
(p)
Connect a tee between the test harness wires that have the UNSHIELDED label.
(q)
Connect the tee to the LO-Z TANK receptacle on the system test unit.
(r)
Connect a tee between the test harness wires that have the COMP label.
(s)
Connect the tee to the LO-Z COMP receptacle on the test unit.
(t)
Set the battery switch to ON.

(7) Do a check of the values on the fuel quantity indicators with a full fuel tank.
(a)
Connect the test harness to the rear of the fuel quantity indicator.
(b)
Close the QTY and the EP GND FUELING circuit breakers, and let the system become warm for five minutes.

Remove the test equipment.
(a)
Open the QTY and the EP GND FUELING circuit breakers.
(b)
Disconnect the test harness from the rear of the fuel quantity indicator and the airplane wire bundle.
(c)
Connect the airplane wire bundle to the rear of the fuel quantity indicator.
(d)
Install the fuel quantity indicator in the pilots' panel and tighten the clamp screw.

(10) Close these circuit breakers and remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:
(a) P6 Main Power Distribution Panel 1) EP GND FUELING 2) QTY

(11) Do a check of the indicator values with an empty tank.
(a)
Make sure the fuel quantity indicator shows a value of zero
with the applicable tolerance: Tanks No. 1 and 2 +110/-0 lbs (+50/-0 kgs) Center tank +170/-0 lbs (+80/-0 kgs)
(b)
Write the value shown on the fuel quantity indicator.
(c)
Open the access panel for the refuel control panel, if the door is closed.
