Make sure these circuit breakers are closed:
(a) On the main power distribution panel, P6: 1) EP GND FUELING 2) QTY 3) CAPT AND CTR PANEL AND INSTR LIGHT

Read the total fuel quantity from the FMCS CDU by the applicable procedure:
1. If the IRS is not aligned:
A. Push the INIT REF key. Make sure the POS INIT page is shown on the CDU.
B. Push the LSK (line select key) 6L (adjacent to < INDEX on the CDU screen display). Make sure the INIT/REF INDEX page is shown.
C. Push the LSK 3L, < PERF keys. Make sure the PERF INIT page is shown with the total fuel quantity shown on the left side of the screen.
2. If the IRS is aligned:
A. Push the INIT REF key. Make sure the PERF INIT page is shown with the total fuel quantity shown on the left side of the screen.
The total fuel quantity shown must be equal to the total of all the fuel quantity
indicators with a tolerance of |100 pounds (|50 kilograms).
