 FUEL TANK BULKHEAD (SPAR) RECEPTACLE WIRE HARNESS -

 1.  General_______
 A.  This procedure has one task:
 (1)  A task to replace the wire bundle (wire harness) that goes to the receptacle on the fuel tank bulkhead (spar)
 B.  Be very careful when you do the maintenance. You must replace the wire bundle assembly if you cause damage to the receptacle.

 (1)  Open these circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT-ClOSE tags:
 (a)  P6 Main Power Distribution Panel
 1) EP GND FUELING

 WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF THE LE AND TE
_______ FLAPS AND FLAP DRIVE MECHANISMS BEFORE YOU MOVE THE FLAPS. THE FLAPS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
 (2)  If you are scheduled to replace the wire bundle for the receptacle in the No. 1 tank or the No. 2 tank, extend the leading edge flaps (AMM 27-81-00/201).

 WARNING: YOU MUST CAREFULLY DO THE STEPS IN THE TASK BELOW TO
_______ INSTALL THE LE FLAP SAFETY LOCKS. THE LE FLAPS CAN MOVE QUICKLY IF YOU DO NOT INSTALL THE SAFETY LOCKS CORRECTLY. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
 (3)  If you are scheduled to replace the wire bundle in the No. 1 tank or the No. 2 tank, install the flap locks on the leading edge flaps (AMM 27-81-00/201).

 WARNING: YOU MUST CAREFULLY DO ALL OF THE SAFETY PROCEDURES TO PREPARE
_______ TO GO INTO THE APPLICABLE TANK. AN EXPLOSION, BAD INJURY TO PERSONS, AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT CAN OCCUR.
 (4)  
Do this task: "Fuel Tank Purging and Entry" for the applicable fuel tank (AMM 28-10-00/201).

 (5)  
Remove the bussing plug for the tank unit and the compensator unit (AMM 28-41-41/401).
