 S 114-010
 (1)  
Clean the machined surface on the rear of the bussing plug and seal that touches the surface around the receptacle with cleaning solvent.

Rub the surfaces dry with a clean, lint-free cloth.

 CAUTION:_______BE CAREFUL WITH THE RECEPTACLE PINS AND SOCKETS. THE RECEPTACLE IS A PART OF THE WIRE HARNESS ASSEMBLY FOR THE FUEL TANK. IF THERE IS DAMAGE TO THE RECEPTACLE, IT IS NECESSARY TO REMOVE THE FULL WIRE HARNESS ASSEMBLY.
 (3)  AIRPLANES WITH A RECTANGULAR BUSSING PLUG;
 Do these steps:

 (a)  
Put a new O-ring seal in the groove on the bussing plug.

 (b)  
Carefully engage the contact pins of the bussing plug with the pin sockets in the bulkhead receptacle.

AIRPLANES WITH A CIRCULAR BUSSING PLUG; Carefully engage the contact pins of the bussing plug with the pin sockets in the bulkhead receptacle.

Lubricate the new seal washers and threads of the bolts with petrolatum.

 (6)  AIRPLANES WITH A RECTANGULAR BUSSING PLUG; Do these steps: (a) Install the bolts, with one thin plain washer and one seal washer below each bolthead (Fig. 401). (b) Tighten the bolts to a torque between 40 and 50 pound-inches.

 (7)  AIRPLANES WITH A CIRCULAR BUSSING PLUG; Do these steps: (a) Install the coupling ring (Fig. 401). (b) Tighten the coupling ring until the yellow line on the bulkhead receptacle (the "full mate indicator") is completely covered by the coupling ring (a torque of approximately 180-200 pound-inches). 1) Use a strap wrench or connector channel-lock pliers to tighten the coupling ring if it is not possible to tighten the coupling ring by hand. (c) Install lockwire on the coupling ring.

 (8)  Connect the electrical connector to the bussing plug.

_______ THE LE FLAP SAFETY LOCKS. THE LE FLAPS CAN MOVE QUICKLY IF YOU DO NOT REMOVE THE SAFETY LOCKS CORRECTLY. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
 (9)  For the bussing plugs on the front spar, remove the flap locks from the leading edge flaps (AMM 27-81-00/201).
 WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF THE LE
_______ AND TE FLAPS AND FLAP DRIVE MECHANISMS BEFORE YOU MOVE THE FLAPS. THE FLAPS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
 (a)  Retract the leading edge flaps (AMM 27-81-00/201).

 Do this Task:  Operational Test - Fuel Quantity Indicating System (AMM 28-41-00/501, AMM 28-41-02/501).

 If it is necessary, do this Task:  System Adjustment - Fuel Quantity Indicating System (AMM 28-41-00/501, AMM 28-41-02/501).
