NOTE: If you turn the knob to a position farther than the
____ correct position, the value increases. The D.F. CONTROL has very little effect for capacitances below approximately 50 pF. The test unit is more sensitive to adjustment of the D.F. CONTROL for larger capacitances.

Release the COMP CAL switch.

Set the battery switch to OFF.

Set the TANK CAP PF thumbwheels to the applicable added capacitance value:

Connect a tee between the test harness wires that have the COAXIAL label.
(o)
Connect the tee to the HI-Z COAX receptacle on the system test unit.
(p)
Connect a tee between the test harness wires that have the UNSHIELDED label.
(q)
Connect the tee to the LO-Z TANK receptacle on the system test unit.
(r)
Connect a tee between the test harness wires that have the COMP label.
(s)
Connect the tee to the LO-Z COMP receptacle on the system test unit.

Set the battery switch to ON.

(4) Do a check of the values shown on the indicator with a full tank.
(a)
Connect the test harness to the rear of the fuel quantity indicator.
(b)
Close the QTY and the EP GND FUELING circuit breakers and let the system become warm for five minutes.

Make sure the fuel quantity indicator shows the applicable full value with the tolerance in this table: TANK FULL VALUE
